Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT)

Fueling your body correctly is one of the best ways to feel great and live a healthy life.  Many individuals find they could use some help in this area, particularly if they struggle with heart disease, diabetes, or diet-related diseases where some foods need to be limited or avoided completely.  Medical nutrition therapy provides assistance for people that must or want to make changes in their diet to maximize their health, and that is where our dietitian can help make navigating food choices easier for you!

The Registered Dietitian provides Medical Nutrition Therapy counseling tailored to a disease, condition and/or lifestyle that will improve your health. This is offered through MGRMC outpatient services. An individualized review of your medical history, eating and lifestyle habits allows the Registered Dietitian to design a nutritional plan to fit your life. Follow-up visits can be scheduled to monitor your progress on the plan.
